Movies & music

Man on Wire Decent documentary. Overhyped a tad bit, but enjoyable to see how a man could risk so much just to do something crazy! If anything it shows what it means to be driven to do something no matter what!

Quantum of Solace Watched it again for the first time since seeing it in theaters. Actually it was more decent than when I saw it the first time. Not a bad James Bond flick in the end.

Virgin Springs Bergman in top form. Mainly asks the question: Is it alright to seek retribution for horrible deeds done to you? Why did God allow this? The story is simple yet very powerful: a very religious knight's daughter gets raped and murdered. Furthermore, the villains are staying in the knight's stable for the night right after they did their miserable deed. The acting from Max von Sydow is, for me, a reason to watch this movie again. Although I should watch other Bergman films that I have not yet seen...

Spoon - Transference Wow! If you liked their previous work you will enjoy this one on the first listening - like I did!

Massive Attack - Heligoland I haven't listened to it often enough to actually say anything about aside from the fact that it's not like 100th Window and more like Mezzanine. Took them 7 years to release a new album...
